I had a successful weekend of feeding the Queen dinner while my friend was out for SacAnime. She's such a strange, regal little creature. I love her so much. She was very content to see me every time, probably the highlight of her day :)

Howdy y'all :)

I decided to finally make this blog separate from all things evil and corporate, and god is it already liberating. Finally, I have a personal space where my mind can be projected to the vast audience of the web. How fitting for me to express myself here, in the digital age.

I have plans to customize this page further, but more importantly I MUST update y'all on what's been going on for me the past week or so. I did a fair amount of movie watching over the span of last week. On Sunday, I watched this one movie called The Kalamari Wrestler with my friend Miles. The whole premise of it was that this giant squid was getting into wrestling matches and eventually it evolves into a whole interspecies wrestling competition. There's violence, drama, sex, romance, all that you could really want out of an action movie. So ridiculous. Then on Monday I watched this really bad live action Lupin the Third movie with another friend. I can't even remember the name of the thing right now, but it'll be in pictures. That one did alright at like, writing the characters somewhat, but the writing as a whole wasn't very good so we both just talked over the thing and caught up on random life stuff. Both of these were on dvd and had anamorphic widescreen, which I wasn't really a huge fan of on the old tv I'm using, since it's 4:3. They advertise letterboxing as a "feature" on the Kalamari disc, but I dunno, I'd rather it just fill the screen normally. Then I went out to a local spot with a friend to watch The Itty Bitty Titty Committee, which ended up being a pretty fun watch. It was like the right amount of camp and clearly staged acting with a good message and banger soundtrack. That one was about like this rebel feminist group whose goal was to make waves through graffiti and provocative stunts to tear down patriarchal standards society puts on women. The ending was pretty good, I won't spoil it.

Lastly are some final notes; I went to a cool little noise/punk show this Monday, but I was kinda sleep deprived and got really high with my friend so by the end of it I was pretty beat and nodding along. It was good though I had a blast, little bit of a slow mosh action that night. Also during the last week, I made a new Special friend... I won't say who ;P
